Big Tosh is operated by Del-Coin Holdings Inc. It is built to collect as little as possible and to put you in control of what you share. This page explains what we hold, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you register we store your name, your email address, and the school or area tied to your ID. Your profile then holds only what you choose to add. The answers on your form and any photos you upload. Nothing on your profile is required beyond the few fields marked as such.
What you control
For most fields you decide, one by one, whether the answer is public or private, and a private answer is never shown to anyone else. It stays on your own edit screen. A few fields are always public, and where that is the case we say so on the form. You can change any answer, or its setting, at any time.
How your information is used
We use it only to run the service: to let someone who scans or types your ID see the parts of your profile you have made public. That lookup is open to anyone and needs no account, which is the whole point of a member number, and it works only while your membership is active. There is no name directory, so the only way to reach your profile is to know your number. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. Sponsor ads on a school's page are the same for everyone who looks. They are not based on who you are or tied to any tracking of you.
Where your information is stored
The personal information we store is kept in Canada, on servers in the AWS Canada (Central) region.
Your rights
You can see and manage your information yourself. From your account settings you can download a copy of everything we hold about you, and you can delete your account. Deleting your account removes your personal information straight away.
Payments
Membership and any paid features are handled by our payment providers (Stripe and Shopify). Your card details go to them directly. We never see or store them.
Young people
Some of the people who use Big Tosh are young, and some are under the age of majority. That is exactly why we ask for so little, default most new answers to private, and let anyone export or delete their information at any time.
Contact
Most privacy requests you can handle yourself from your account settings above. For anything else, email info@bigtosh.com.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
